This fabulous property is well recognised for its freshly prepared cuisine would like to recruit an experienced Sous Chef to join its talented brigade.

The menu offers a good choice of culinary delights from traditional British favourites to more imaginative dishes, all of which are prepared and created using fresh local produce. The establishment has an established and dedicated cliental, as well as benefiting from passing trade due its fabulous location. This position requires a hard working and dedicated individual who has an ability to cope well under pressure - experience in a high volume establishment is definitely an advantage!

In this position the successful candidate will be working closely with the existing team, assisting in all sections of the kitchen in order to achieve its successful running and maintain standards. It is important that all applicants to this position have experience in using fresh ingredients, in a busy high volume establishment. This is a great opportunity for a focused and hard working individual to work within a quality establishment that benefits from the atmosphere and team spirit that can only be created by a family run business. Experience in Pastry would be an advantage.

Possible Live-in Accommodation
You must have NVQ 1&2 or equivalent and a minimum of 3+ years experience in a fine dining/ brasserie establishment as a Sous Chef or solid Snr Chef de Partie. It is also necessary that applicants posses a food hygiene certificate.

In line with the requirements of the asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of the eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
