Do you have a passion for delivering a first-class customer service along with a key focus on customer experience? As part of our continued commitment to our customers, we are now recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Manager to join our Yorkshire team based in Wakefield.

The Role

Joining the team as our Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running of our Customer Service department, taking a hands-on approach in which, you will lead, develop, agree and implement the management, control and reporting of all Customer Service activities and functions.

Key duties and requirements

You will be responsible for the management, leadership and coaching of the Customer Service administration and field-based teams whilst also taking a strategic approach to the design, delivery and implementation of Customer Service policies and procedures.

Duties also include

- Ensuring the department is effectively controlled and managed within budget
- Overseeing working partnerships to ensure that all contractual terms are met in accordance with the Avant Customer Service policies and processes
- Ensuring the department is fully engaged in the process of determining and agreeing remedial works programmes and delivering excellent Customer Service according to required quality standards and within agreed timescales
- Managing Warranty Provider claims and attend resolution and insurance claim meetings


The Ideal Candidate

To be successful as our Customer Service Manager, you will have previous experience of working as a Customer Service Manager or Head of Customer Service within either the new build residential, manufacturing, retail or logistics industry.

To be considered for the role, you must also possess;

- Extensive knowledge and experience of budget forecasting
- Knowledge of the construction industry is desirable yet not essential.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Extensive knowledge of the Customer Service Policies and Processes
- A full UK driving licence
