Gan fod yn atebol i'r Cyfarwyddwr Llesiant a Grymuso, bydd yr Arweinydd Cymunedau, Llywodraeth Leol a Chydraddoldebau yn gweithio gyda Llywodraeth Cymru, llywodraeth leol a phartneriaid allweddol eraill i hyrwyddo pa mor bwysig ydyw bod pobl h?n sy'n byw yng Nghymru yn cael gwasanaethau, cyfleusterau a seilwaith cymunedol sydd o blaid pobl h?n.
Elfen allweddol o'r r?l fydd hwyluso her adeiladol ynghylch y rhwystrau sy'n effeithio ar lesiant pobl h?n, a sicrhau bod hawliau pobl h?n wrth wraidd darpariaeth gwasanaethau cyhoeddus yng Nghymru.
Bydd yr arweinydd hefyd yn adolygu prosesau mewnol yn unol ?'r arferion gorau yng nghyswllt Asesiadau o'r Effaith ar Gydraddoldeb a Hawliau Dynol ac yn hyrwyddo arferion cynhwysol er budd pobl h?n ymysg rhanddeiliaid allweddol.

Driving Change for Older People across Wales
The Older People's Commissioner for Wales is an independent voice and champion for older people, standing up and speaking out on their behalf.

Communities, Local Government and Equalities Lead
£34,500 - £41,950 per annum

The ability to speak Welsh for this role is essential.

Accountable to the Director of Wellbeing and Empowerment, the Communities, Local Government and Equalities Lead will work with the Welsh Government, local government and other key partners, to promote the importance of community services, facilities and age friendly infrastructure for older people living in Wales.

A key part of the role will be to facilitate constructive challenge about the barriers that impact on the wellbeing of older people and ensure that older people's rights are at the heart of the delivery of public services in Wales.

The potholder will also review internal processes, in line with best practice, on Equality and Human Rights Impact Assessments and promote inclusive practices across key stakeholders for the benefit of older people.
